Call For Proposal
We are happy to announce that this year React India is going to follow a hybrid format (Live + Online).
React India Hybrid edition is happening from 18th Oct to 19th Oct 2024, plus an extra day set aside for Workshops. Workshops will be held on 17th Oct 2024.
As part of the hybrid format, there will also be a remote event with awesome talks on 15th Oct 2024 from 02.30 pm to 7 pm IST with speakers from all around the world. If you want to host workshops remotely at React India Remote 2024, you can apply through this link.
React India is an international community-led non-profit initiative that provides a platform for developers to share and discuss their insights and experiences with React. The first of the three days will be focusing on workshops happening remotely and in-person at the conference venue in Goa and the following two days will be dedicated to talks on topics revolving around React, React Native & GraphQL. The conference aims to connect developers from all across the world. In this single-track event, you will learn more about React and everything related to it while networking with some of the leading talents in the developer community. In addition to enjoying the event, this also gives you a chance to meet other React developers! Regular and lightning talks will cover various topics related to React and FE, including React Native, GraphQL, AR/VR, State Management, Preact, and more!
We would also love to hear if you have some case studies that you would like to present.
The first of the three days will be focusing on workshops and the following two days will be dedicated to talks on topics revolving around React, React Native & GraphQL. The conference will bring together front-end and full-stack developers from across the globe remotely. In this single-track event, you will learn more about React and everything related to it while networking with some of the leading talents from around the globe in the developer community. In addition to enjoying the event, this is also your chance to meet our experts remotely and ask them questions! Regular and lightning talks will cover various topics related to React.JS and FE, including React Native, GraphQL, VR and AR, Redux, PreactJS, and more! We would also love to hear if you have some case studies that you could present.
With this being our annual conference happening every year with over 650 developers attending the conference live and about 1000 attending remotely on one of the days from around the world, sponsoring the conference is one of the best ways to connect with an incredible community of developers. We are committed to creating a diverse line-up of attendees and speakers, in hopes of furthering our goals and values.

Selection Process
The talk submission form will be open until 15th July 2024, after which our committee will analyze all the submissions and finalize the schedule.
Our committee will be selecting 26 talks out of all the proposals submitted for the conference.
All submissions will be reviewed and voted for by our talk committee. Each talk will be categorized into one of several categories:

Each talk will be rated on a scale from 1 to 5, taking into account the following criteria:
Quality and clarity of talk
Relevance to the JS community
Impact on JS Community
The top submissions will then be de-anonymized so we can take speaker details into account. This ensures a diverse speaker line-up of people from all backgrounds and speaking experiences.
Talk about your passion
Given two submissions on the exact same topic, the proposal that communicates the most passion will almost always win. Even the most mundane of topics can be engaging if presented with genuine passion.
One Idea Per Submission
Do you have multiple talk ideas and can't decide which one you are most passionate about? Submit all of them!
But if you do, please submit one per submission.
Combining all your ideas in one submission will make it harder for our selection committee to assign a category and a score, which means it will most likely be rejected. Please submit each idea you have individually.

Perks
If you get selected as a speaker at React India, here's what we provide:
Your travel to India, Goa may be partially covered
If our budget allows we will at least partially cover your travel to Goa.
Additionally, we also will cover 4 nights (i.e. OCT 16th-19th Oct 2024 and 20th Oct Checkout) stay at Planet Hollywood Goa. This is where the conference will also take place. If you want to stay longer, we can arrange things, just let us know, but you may have to cover extra nights, though.
List your employer as community sponsors/partners
If your employer can cover your travel and stay, we can list them as awesome ❤️ community sponsors on React India website. The money we save will be used to make the conference better and more fabulous or will be used to sponsor scholarship tickets.
You can bring one extra member with you
You can bring your significant other, bring your kid(s), they'll stay with you at the hotel. If you need childcare to be sorted out for the time of the conference, please also get in touch at [email protected]. We are here to make things as easy for you as possible!

We also have support for child care if your kids are traveling with you. In case you need access to a prayer room we have that covered for you.
